I had the opportunity to have a chance meeting with record executive and a&r Cliff Jones. Interesting experience 

So I was on twitter promoting my upcoming concert with Dom Kennedy and Fat Trel and one of my homies and fellow Noble Black Society members, Wayne hit me up about getting some video shot for the concert. He told me he wouldn’t be able to make it , because of another project with a big production house , but could send someone to come capture footage and pictures. I told him I already had a couple people (Chris and my DJ  Crossfade ) , but we got to talking and he asked me if I knew a guy named Cliff Jones who he described as “the biggest a&r in the area, who discovered sysquo, tank ,tyrese,etc” . I told him I didn’t and he said he was in the office now and I should come through. So completely ditching my Ashley Joy (another singer in nobs)[if you're reading this , sorry about that btw], I drove out  to Maryland and met with him.

Cliff’s a heavy set guy with a big heart and ridiculous knowledge of the industry. We talked awhile about some possible ventures and in all just swapped stories. He dropped a lot of knowledge on me. Note to self: “marry the right woman” . Adjunct to his office he has a full sized studio , so after our meeting we hit the studio and I dropped a short 8 over one of his new artist’s track. Banger!
